Bird Feeder Gallery

Cardinals

On average we get mostly visit from our nice red friends. Seems to be a couple in our area that show up quite often. I can almost set my clock to when in the morning they will be at the feeder.

In Flight Air acrobatics

These are a bunch of shots that the camera either grab when it was doing one of the frames every 30secons or just perfect timing with the motion detection built into the camera.   None of the birds have ever hit the window and I really hope it never happens

Chickadees

I just love these little guys.  So shy but every now and then they show up with a big show of courage despite it being a cardinal stop.

Finches

I’m not sure exactly what type of finch this since I’m new to birding so if any one know please email me at
mrzimm@rogers.com I would love to know.

Busy Time

Sometimes the feeder gets a little busier, seems that everyone wants the feeder to them self. But the odd time we get a doubling up on the bird feeder. It’s really nice to see but usually some one is chased away.

Very First Visitors

So far the bird feeder has been squirrel proof. I think that is mostly due to them not noticing where I have placed it. But come later on this winter I'm sure they are going to find it as an easy target. The feeder is only sticking out about 1½ feet from the wall. The TRENDnet TV-IP110W Wireless Internet Camera is mounted just inside point downwards to avoid some of the winter light reflecting back during parts of the day.
